Retro Franciscan "Constantine" Masterpiece China Dinnerware. Made
in U.S.A. Pattern Description: Lavender and Pink design on Olive
Green Band, Ivory Background, Platinum Trim. This pattern is discontinued.
This pattern was active from: 1966 until 1976. This china has the the oval
Gold Printed Mark of "Interpace-Made in U.S.A" surrounding
"Franciscan Masterpiece China"; the pattern,
"Constantine" is printed above the oval (see photos). Franciscan Ceramics are ceramic tableware and tile products produced by Gladding,
McBean & Co. in Los Angeles, California, from 1934 to 1962, International
Pipe and Ceramics (Interpace) from 1962 to 1979, and Wedgwood from 1979 to
1983. Wedgwood closed the Los Angeles plant, and moved the production of
dinnerware to England in 1983. The Franciscan brand is famous for their
colorful embossed "Desert Rose" and "Apple' dinnerware, among
many others. Condition: All pieces are in Excellent vintage pre-owned condition. There are no chips, cracks or crazing. Light shelf wear and light utensil marks but only minimal wear to the platinum trim. The pricing from the drop down menu is per item.
