Pretty Set of 2 Vintage Mills Pottery Plates, Hand Thrown signed and dated 8/15/1995. The plates are 8 1/2" in diameter. They are tan with painted blue edges and a blue flower in the center. The back is signed, "Mills Pottery 8/15/199" and Food Safe so they have an ash glaze. One says "one of these batches will work" so it appears these may have been a prototype for a line of dishes they were making. There is overall crazing in the glaze but no chips or cracks so they are still quite useable or just lovely to display in a rustic, primitive or country kitchen. The plate stand used in the photos is not included in the sale.
