Two Vintage Porcelain Polo Club Chinese 2oz Tea Cups in a Floral Pattern. Marked “Polo - John Club”
I have to think these are from the Polo Club in Wellington
Condition is "excellent used". Decorated on all sides. No chips, crazing, scrapes nor cracks. There is a minute glaze pop on the inside rim, both have it in the same spot, but that comes from the manufacture. I tried to point it out. Please see photos for details.

“When the Chinese tea cup was originated, it was much easier to fashion a cup without handles. It made it much easier to stack and ship.
Contrary to popular belief, tea in the Orient originally was served at a much lower temperature. High temperature tea was a European custom, as it would dissolve the sugar much faster.”
