Here we have an extra-large 16" oval serving platter in the very folksy Swiss cottage "Twist Anna" pattern from the mix-and-match Switch Collection of now-discontinued dinnerware produced by Villeroy & Boch (Germany) from 1998-2004. Fine China, dishwasher and microwave-safe. We have lots of Villeroy and Boch and other fine China in our store, to which we add new inventory daily, and we're always happy to combine shipping at actual cost. Vintage: 1998-2004 (discontinued) Approximate Measurements: 16" x 11" Condition : Our photographs reveal the condition best -- please enlarge and zoom in on them, and examine them carefully. We often add graphics such as arrows, circles, and text boxes to our photos to point out things of interest that might be hard to see, such as a price tag or maker's mark, as well as to highlight many condition flaws. Very clean and fresh piece in overall excellent to very-good vintage condition, with no chips or cracks, and no stains, silver/gray utensil marks or crazing. Moderate number of scattered, completely colorless, scratches to the glaze that are impossible to avoid if one uses any piece of dinnerware. Most of these can only be seen when the piece is under close inspection, held up at just the right angle to a direct source of bright light. Please see photos and condition report below for details. We consider funky odors (cigarette smoke, mildew, etc) to be an important part of a condition report.
