NIKKO PROVINCIAL DESIGNS "AVONDALE" 6 COUPE CEREAL BOWLS

Set of six Nikko Provincial Designs "Avondale" coupe cereal bowls which are in very good condition with no chips, cracks, pattern loss, discoloration or excessive use scratches.  One bowl does have very slight crazing; however it's quite difficult to see and doesn't show up in a photo.  These bowls measure 6 1/8 inches in diameter and are 2 inches in heights - this is a good sized cereal bowl and can be used for soup and dessert also.  Nikko introduced this design in 1986 and it was active until 2004.  It is characterized by a provincial folk art-type pattern of red and blue flowers with green leaves and blue trim on a white background.  It has always reminded me of the English Adams "Lancaster" pattern because they are so similar!  The cereal bowls in Avondale are somewhat difficult to find and I've priced at a fraction of resale sites.  Great useful, practical and hard to find pieces to add to your set in time for the holidays.   All items I sell either come from or have been stored in a smoke free environment and are sold “as-is”.    I photograph and describe in detail to the best of my ability. I do NOT accept returns, so please read detailed description and look at photos carefully!!! Note: I no longer ship fragile or larger packages via USPS. USPS routinely mishandles shipments resulting in delayed delivery and higher than normal damage/loss. UPS/Fedex may be slightly more expensive; however, they handle shipments quickly and carefully and are much more reliable and reputable in the unlikely event of damage/loss!
