Here are assorted pieces of Harker pottery known as Harkerware crafted during the 1950s in East Liverpool, Ohio. The "Corinthian-Teal" pattern has a dark green glossy background with white gadroon edge (embossed and scalloped edging formed by inverted flutings or grooves). It has been long discontinued . Condition is very good with no chips, cracks or discoloration. The light utensil marks except on the bread plates. Crazing appears on a few pieces as noted below. A) 2 Lug Cereal Bowls – 6 7/8" diameter with 2” high sides. B) 1 Sugar Bowl with Lid – 3 ¾” tall to top of knob. Lid has under rim scuff, see photo. C) 1 Round 7” Vegetable Bowl – 7 ½” diameter with 2 ¼” high sides. (2 are avail) D) 1 Round 9” Vegetable Bowl – 8 7/8” diameter with 2 ¾” high sides. Crazing on interior bottom. E) 1 Oval 9” Vegetable Bowl – 9 1/2” long and 6 ¾” wide with 2 ¼” high sides . Has an underglaze crumb. F) 2 Cup & Saucer Sets – No crazing. Cups 2 5/8” tall with 3 ¾”rim diameter. Saucers 6 ¼” diameter. G) 2 Cup & Saucer Sets – With crazing. Cups 2 5/8” tall with 3 ¾”rim diameter. Saucers measure 6 ¼” diameter. H) 3 Bread & Butter Plates – 6 ¼” diameter. Noticeable utensil marks. There are two different backstamps on this dishwasher safe ovenware, both from the 1950s. Thanks for looking.
