In 1958 Corning Glass introduced their first Pyroceram cookware called Blue Cornflower. The Pyroceram formula was adjusted and a new line of dinnerware was made to compliment the cookware. In 1970 Corelle was introduced. This pattern has a swirl edge. The plates are marked on the bottom with: Corelle by Corning Microwavable No Broiler or Stovetop Made in USA. We are nonsmoking shop/home and there are no odors on these plates. If you have this pattern, then this would be an excellent chance to add to it.
