I'm listing several of these Bessie Pease Gutmann collector plates tonight. Please check my other listings for the opportunity to combine shipping.
These plates are titled "In Disgrace" and "Love is Blind" and number 2915 and #7663 by Bessie Pease Gutmann. Mrs. Gutmann was a well known illustrator in the early 1900s. She did mostly magazines like McCalls, but also some books like the 1907 edition of Alice in Wonderland.
"In Disgrace" dates to 1985 by The Hamilton Collection. This plate is a first issue of the A Child's Best Friend Series.
"Love Is Blind" dates to 1983 by the Rockford Exchange. This plate is a first issue of the Little Mothers Series.
Great condition without chips, cracks or crazing. The finish is without scratches or use wear. The gold rim on "In Disgrace" is beautiful and intact.
