Ahwahnee shallow Bowl - marked "Sterling" original collection of Dinnerware
This is a shallow bowl from the original collection of the Ahwahnee dinnerware from Yosemite's Ahwahnee Hotel. It is marked "Sterling" at the bottom. The Maker "Sterling" phased out with the production of the Ahwahnee dinnerware in the early 90's. It was then manufactured with a deferent company. Any Ahwahnee dinnerware that is marked "Sterling", is from the original manufacturer. This line of dinnerware is used in the Ahwahnee hotel's restaurant and serving their guests who stay there as well. The pattern was created from inspiration from the Miwok Basketry patterns, the original native inhabitants of Yosemite.
