24 PC Vintage Mid Century Sascha Brastoff Zypher Dinnerware Set 4 Place Settings This is a 24 Piece Vintage Mid Century Atomic Era Style Sascha Brastoff Zypher Dinnerware Set of 4 Place Settings consisting of the following: 4 Dinner Plates 11" 4 Luncheon Plates 9" 4 Bread/Side Plates 7" 4 Bowls 6" 4 Coffee Cups 4 1/2" across top x 1 3/4" high 4 Saucers 6 3/4" Sascha Brastoff  (1917-1993) was a performer, a designer and founder of a successful production ceramics company and line that operated in Los Angeles, California from c. 1946 to 1962. Brastoff described his rare Zephyr dinnerware pattern as: "Airy wisps in gold and blue on ombre grey matte."
This is the ZYPHER pattern, hand painted pattern features a soft matte gray circular spiral which gets lighter going toward the center, with cosmical shapes and gold dot accents.
Marked on the underside with the Sascha Brastoff name and rooster maker's mark, Fine China, California USA.
Condition:  Very, very good.  No chips, cracks or repairs. There is some minimal light surface wear and scratches that are hard to notice. See photo #'s 8. 9 & 10.
